A Community Shop for Hungerford?
What could a community shop look like?
An eco-shop for the community, run by the community as a not-for-profit, selling loose food (zero plastic and packaging), refillable products (such as laundry detergent), and whatever else our community would like to sell.
Why? To offer an alternative to what is already available in Hungerford and to do our bit to reduce the vast amount of packaging consumers dispose of every day.
When? As soon as possible. We will hold a Pop-Up shop in the mean time.
Where? On the High Street.
How? We can only make this happen by working together as a community. There is lots of interest, so please come forward and say how you can help, either setting it up and/or by volunteering once the shop is open.
