Repair Café

The next Hungerford Repair Café will be announced soon, please keep your eyes peeled, and gather items which could be repaired for free!

Repair Cafés allow you to bring items which are broken, to have them looked at by someone who knows how to fix them, and to have the item fixed if it is possible.

Items to bring include electronic appliances, machinery, textiles, and woodwork.

Repair Cafés help to reduce waste, to encourage the sharing of skills, and to bring a community together.

In order to set this up we would need a team of volunteers who would be willing to lend their skills fixing things!

If you are interested then please get in touch by emailing HEAT, and if you know someone who would be interested, please send them our details!

If you do have repair skills, and would like to volunteer at a forthcoming event, as either a fixer or helper, please do get in touch:

Hungerford Repair Café is the combined efforts of HEAT and Rotary Club of Hungerford.

“If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. But if it is, bring it to the Hungerford Repair Café!”

The following notes were taken from a webinar by CAG Oxfordshire on how to set up a community repair group
